Just my experience, they gave bigger portions just before closing time. If you are in LA for a visit or residence give them a try. Youll love it. Cant wait until my next trip. “ I tried the egg and shrimp sushi for the first timeit had a texture I wasnt expecting, but Im glad I gave it a shot. I dont often try dishes like that, so it was a nice change with new flavors. The Zencu udon with a California roll was absolutely deliciousgreat taste all around! The service was welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even better. I really enjoyed it. ”

“ Amazing sushi here. The fish is really fresh. The rolls are pretty big portions. Everything tastes amazing and goes well. Pretty much the best sushi Ive ever had except some of the rolls are pretty spicy. We ordered a little too much and the price came out a little high, But you only need to order like one or two rolls per person honestly. We got literally like seven rolls and everything came out amazing. Not a single miss. The vibe and ambiance is lively and The service is phenomenal. All the waiters are very kind and The food came out really really fast like really really fast. Everything about the this place is Wonderful! Coming back here another time. ”

“ Had a short lunch here with friends. Seating was fast and simple. The atmosphere of the place was traditional and very cozy. Our appetizers came out quick! And so did our main courses. We were lucky to go in on a day when Bluefin Tuna was on the special menu, so I ordered the negi toro roll and bluefin nigiri. All I can say was wow! It was incredibly fresh and tasty, easily one of the best negi toro rolls Ive had in LA. My friends enjoyed their bento and poke bowls as well. My only regret is not having enough time to enjoy more of the menu. So, Ill return here soon! ”

“ Last year I left a review on this restaurant with overall 5 stars. The atmosphere was amazing, the food was delicious, and the service was great, until my last visit. All of the times I have been here, my party and I have always been welcomed warmly and received upstanding service! We typically got the same two servers each time we dine in. Until our most recent visit back in November, we were attended for the first time by this specific server, and we could have never expected someone so impatient and unprofessional. Not only was he impatient in taking our order, he got half of our order wrong we were only a party of 4. Gave him the benefit of the doubt, maybe they just had a rush earlier, but looking around there were only three other busy tables. When we tried to ask for utensils, he blatantly ignored us until another waitress swooped in and helped us. We enjoyed our meal, had a good time. Then when I asked for the bill and some to go containers, our previous server came in, threw the containers in front of me, along with the bill, until everything fell onto my food and lap, and walked away. I was completely flabbergasted, I wasnt and still am unsure of what I possibly done wrong or made him upset. But overall, I was utterly embarrassed as I brought a family member here for the first time, completely raving to him about how amazing this restaurant is, only for his first experience to turn out like this. I know this is a rather lengthy review, and I apologize, but I would rather give insight on my last experience with them and be straightforward. I really do love and miss this restaurant, but I probably wouldnt go back here anytime soon, especially if we were to get that rude server again ”

“ Very unassuming place but serves good food. Ordered 2 lunch bentos, and the beef teriyaki was made just right, and the tuna roll was one of the best presented and served!! Also ordered the tonkatsu ramen with great flavor broth meat n noodles. Its a thumbs up for us. ”
